Kosher Scoop

Kosher food is that which adheres to Jewish religious dietary laws. In practice, this includes the prohibition of consuming certain non-kosher animals; the ritual slaughter and preparation of animals; and the proscription of cooking and consuming meat and milk together. As long as you’re bringing certified kosher food into your kitchen and are not cooking or eating milk and meat together (and use separate kitchen equipment) you are set to cook kosher! (Please consult a rabbi for specific laws and requirements.) Kosher recipes here are plentiful, delicious, easy or complicated (depending on your preference) to prepare and, aside from certain non-kosher foods, run the range of gastronomic cultures and cuisines.
