Pesach Food Processor Recipes + WIN a Food Processor!

***Contest Closed! Thank you to all those who participated! The winner of our Food Processor is Risa!*** (updated March 20th, 2013)

All year long, I use my food processor for various recipes, taking it out on average once every 2 weeks. For some reason, when pesach comes along, I use it so often that I don't even put it away . It stays out on my counter all week long. I use it to make kugels, stuffing, horseradish, apple crumbles and even charoseth. Our friend and wondeful author Norene is the queen of food processor recipes , having written a best selling book (The NEW Food Processor Bible (Whitecap Books)) on the topic. Here at KosherScoop we are trying to make your Pesach prep easier, so try out these recipes, and enter to win your very own food processor...Good luck!  -Estee

Mustachudos by Norene Gilletz

This gluten-free cookie is perfect all year. Be prepared to make several batches of this Turkish delight during Passover–they’ll disappear very quickly! Thanks to Helen Berg of Australia and the late Raya Tarab of Israel for sharing their tips. recipe-->

Super Coleslaw by Norene Gilletz

I've made this family favorite for years - it's a winner! The hot marinade keeps the coleslaw mixture crisp. For a colorful slaw, use a mixture of red and green cabbage.  recipe-->

Passover Wacky Franks  by Norene Gilletz

Hot dog and bun, all baked in one! These batter-coated hot dogs are terrific for children of all ages. They’re ideal for a mid-week meal when you just can’t look at another piece of brisket or chicken.  recipe-->

I have young children, and a food processor is one of those luxuries that is practically a necessity anymore. I would be thrilled to win my first processor from Kosher Scoop! We are having 16 over for Pesach this year, and having recently developed autoimmune arthritis I am starting to feel very anxious about my usual prepping routines. I am giving myself much longer than usual this year to chop, save my energy and be safe G-d willing. It's a year of change for us. :-)

We are a military/Jewish family with four kiddos, so I have never been able to purchase a decent or kosher food processor yet. This would be such a wonderful blessing to receive especially since I homeschool all of our kiddos and do a lot of cooking for Home Ec with the kiddos. I already follow you on FB, Twitter and Pinterest and use your site each day for ideas and recipes with the kiddos-they each pick a recipe out for their dinner item they will be serving the family each night--it's one of my favourite things we do as a family :) Thank you and blessings :)

I love making my chocolate crinkle cookies. All it needs is a food processor, chocolate chips, nuts, sugar and egg whites! I love your website!

when my family got a food processor for pesach, it changed erev pesach - no more sitting with a grater and attempting to grate the marror by hand! (although it is a lot stronger now...)

Liked on Facebook. The thing that my food processor makes the most on Pesach is potato kugel. At least 30 lbs

I've been working on getting my family to eat more fresh vegetables and salads. The food processor would really cut down my prep time.

My family's favorite holiday food that I make in a food processor is my grandmother's homemade gefilte fish. have adapted the recipe to use in a processor and use it in my mother's processor as I do not own one. I make the dish at least three times a year (Passover, New Year's, and my husband's birthday dinner). It would make life so much simpler to have a food processor at my house than have to schlep the hour to my mother's home to use hers. Chag sameach all.
