The Purim feast is a truly special time spent with friends and family, having just the right centerpiece helps set the tone for the evening. I have always enjoyed collecting pictures of different kinds of centerpieces that can be used for times like these.  Here are some ideas that bring the festive feeling of Purim to your table.  From Purim-themed to classic and elegant, intricate to simple, there is something for everyone.

Clustering together wine bottles of different shapes and sizes with flowers makes a centerpiece that is elegant and apropos for Purim

Clear wine bottles can be used as candle holders, tying in the theme of wine on Purim in a sophisticated fashion.

This idea is inexpensive and easy to put together. Simply line up nine small jars and place different small flowers inside. Choose a flower that goes with your color scheme and wrap a ribbon of that color around the jars.

This is a fun centerpiece with a true Purim spirit. Use candies that enhance the colors of your place settings.  Place a skinny vase filled with water into a larger vase.Put the flowers in the water and fill the space around it with candies.

Customize your vases to match your color scheme by buying coordinating scrapbook paper, cutting it and taping it to a tall vase.

This is a simple centerpiece idea that adds a lot of charm. Simply place a flower under a upside down stem glass with a small candle on top.  Then arrange them throughout your Purim feast table.

Vases also make beautiful candle holders.  Place a candle on the inside of the vase and tie a flower on the outside with ribbon. Place the vase on a coaster or small plate.

These peacock feathers are sure to catch everyone's eye at your Purim seudah.  Line the bottom of the vase with filler and use two different size ribbons taped around the vase to bring out these festive colors.

For an easy to make stunning centerpiece.  Hang crystals bought from your local craft store from a free standing tree.

For something different and whimsical that will be a real "treat" for your guest's eye.   Take long strips of fabric ribbon and glue gun a napkin ring around it to use as a base for beautiful cupcakes.  Then tie the ribbon onto tree branches.
