1 lb. ground beef
1 egg, beaten
1cup bread crumbs
2 teaspoon minced garlic
1/2 cup minced onion
1 to 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
1 to 2 tablespoon chopped fresh basil
1/4 teaspoon fennel seed, toasted and chopped fine
1/4 teaspoon dried red pepper flakes
1/4 teaspoon dried oregano
1/2 + teaspoon kosher salt
1/4+ teaspoon fresh ground pepper
Marinara sauce of your choice
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients together in a large bowl. Roll mixture into balls-should make between 12 to 15 depending on the size. Spray cooking sheet with olive oil spray and bake meatballs for 10 minutes. Turn them over and bake for another 10 minutes. Remove them to a large pot and add marinara sauce. Cook on low heat for about 30 minutes.
