The ultimate summer meal is in my mind: Brie with Cabernet onion jam and thick crust baguettes. Use Israeli products and show solidarity. Tishbi jams are award winning, and with good reason. Baking Brie is so simple, and there are so many variations that can dress it up, both savoury and sweet.
Buy a wheel of Brie that is white and soft. Preheat oven to 350.
Slice off the rind on top with a sharp knife.
Place the Brie on a baking dish, and top with onion jam (we sell that right here!). Bake uncovered for about 15 minutes, until cheese is melted. Serve with crackers or crusty bread.
