I bought a pan that has removable bottoms in each compartment and I love it. If you grease the compartments of a muffin tin well, you can run a knife around the edges to let them loose as well. Alternatively, press the rice crispy treats into paper cups lining the muffin tins for cute peanut butter cups. This is a great Mishloach Manot idea!
- corn syrup - 1 cup
- peanut butter - 1 cup
- sugar - 3/4 cup
- crisped rice cereal (such as Rice Krispies) - 5 cups
- baking chocolate - 3 oz
1. Combine corn syrup, peanut butter and sugar in a large pot and heat on medium until combined. Add rice crispy cereal and stir. Press into well-greased muffin tins or square tins. Freeze for minimum 2 hours.
Here's my melting chocolate trick:
Place the chocolate in a thick freezer bag and stick the bag into a bowl that is half filled with water. Microwave in increments of 30 seconds until the chocolate is melted. Cut a tiny hole in one of the corners and drizzle your heart out.
