This week we will set up a dessert table for your Chanuka Party. And of course, since it is Chanuka we will be having DONUTS for dessert.
A donut bar AND a hot cocoa bar…what could be better? Ok, so let’s take a closer look at the Donut Bar. We have plain donuts (not frosted yet), toppings and icings.
Everyone can take a donut and decorate it how they like it. How fun! Here are the toppings and icing flavors that I chose for my donut bar. I used a chocolate, caramel, and vanilla flavored icing in 2 colors. Donut icing recipe here. The toppings are white chocolate chips, caramel chips, and yellow and grey sprinkles to match the color theme. If you look closely, you will see that these are the same placemats that we used last time to set our Chanuka table. It says Happy Chanuka Happy Chanuka Happy Chanuka….

Disclaimer: Baked donuts are NOT real donuts. They taste delicious, but if you want a real donut, you gotta fry it.
If you don’t want to bake or fry donuts, you can just buy donuts. Ask your bakery to save you some unfrosted donuts.
Ok, now let’s take a look at the Hot Cocoa Bar. We have hot milk with donut sugar cookies, hot chocolate on a stick, and cake pops.
This is a must have. If you are going to make one thing on Chanuka, you MUST make this Hot Chocolate on a Stick.I love them because they are so easy, so adorable, so fun, and so delicious. The directions are as they are written on the printables. Mix with hot milk. Look how cute! Recipe Here.
Each cup of hot milk comes with a matching grey or yellow donut sugar cookie.
