Slightly salty and totally tasty, these spirals disappear as fast as you put them out. They are a real treat!
- puff pastry dough - 1 pkg
- pitted olives - 1 can, black or green
- parsley - 1/2 cup fresh, or 1 tbsp dried
- garlic - 2 cloves. crushed
- olive oil - 4 tbsp
- salt - to taste
- pepper - to taste
Place all tapenade ingredients in a food processor and process until fine.
Roll out the puff pastry dough. Spread the tapenade over the dough and roll up jelly-roll style. Freeze for half an hour.
Preheat oven to 350° F. Slice puff pastry roll into thin spirals and arrange on a baking paper-lined baking sheet.
Bake for 20–25 minutes, until golden.
