Before we went to the country last year, my sister bought a large container of Montreal Steak Seasoning from Costco. We were sprinkling it on everything the whole summer, but it was especially tasty on fresh, sweet corn on the cob. Follow the cooking method below for a delicious treat.
- corn - 8-10 ears of sweet corn
- olive oil - light
- Montreal Steak Seasoning - 1 Tbsp
- honey - 1 tsp
Peel off all but 1 or 2 layers of the corn husks. Â Pull the remaining husks down but not off. Â Remove as many of the silk strands as you can (the rest will come off easily after they char.) Â Pull up the husks.
Preheat the grill to high, put the corn on the grate and cover. Â Cook for about 8 minutes turning often to cook evenly. Â Just before serving peel off the husks and brush with Montreal Steak Seasoning mixture and put back on the fire for 1 minute, to give it an extra toasting. Â Serve immediately.
