We don’t have to convince anyone of the benefits to eating salads full of fresh, healthy and low-calorie ingredients. Fresh salads have become a staple in our meal planning at home.
Avocados in your salad makes it that much more healthful. Did you know that avocados make you feel full? Half an avocado contains 3.4 grams of soluble fibre which slows the breakdown of carbohydrates in your body, helping you feel full for longer. Avocados also contain oleic acid, a healthy fat that activates the part of your brain that makes you feel full. Eat up on your avocado-filled salads and stay full!
