This recipe can be adjusted to suit taste. Delicious homemade hummus, without any preservatives!
- chickpeas - 14 oz can
- cloves garlic - 1-2
- handful parsley leaves - or 2 tsp parsley flakes
- salt - 1/2 tsp
- cumin - 1/4 tsp(optional and adjustable to taste)
- lemon juice - 3 tbsp.
- water - 4 tbsp.
- techina paste - 4 tbsp.
- olive oil - 2+ tbsp.
Blend the first ingredients (including and up to the cumin). Depending on whether you like your hummus chunky or creamy, watch the ingredients and stop accordingly. Stir in the rest of the ingredients and mix by hand (or if you like it super creamy, blend). Enjoy!
