“Passover made easy”. Sounds like it’s too good to be true, doesn’t it? Well, at least there is some new help on the cooking horizon. Leah Schapira and Victoria Dwek are partners in a new book published by Artscroll. Together they have come up with some lovely, delicious looking recipes that will make any meal a resounding success. Brisket Eggrolls, Banana French Toast, and Pineapple Pie can now be added to a Pesach menu. There are some more classic favorites as well, like Seder Night Chicken and Veal Chops in White Wine Sauce.
The pictures are beautiful and the recipes creative, but my favorite part is the candid tone of the book. Maybe it’s because I know the authors, but I like the light and friendly way they add small tidbits of info to every recipe. It injects friendliness into the daunting prospect of cooking for 8 days of the holiday. We chose the following 2 recipes from the book to share with you today, and we are sure that when you flip though the book, there will be plenty more for you to choose from.
Below are two recipes excerpted from the book!
