Who doesn't love popcorn? This is one of the various flavors I've made in my home. Try them all and see which one you like best!
- 8 cups popped popcorn -
- 1/2 cup butter -
- 1 cup sugar -
- 1/4 cup dark corn syrup -
- 2 tbsp strawberry jello powder -
- 1/4 tsp baking soda -
Preheat oven to 250°F (130°C). Melt butter in a saucepan. Add the sugar and dark corn syrup and bring to a boil. Let boil for 2 minutes, then remove from heat. Stir in jello powder and baking soda. Pour over popcorn. Spread out on a greased baking sheet and bake for 1/2 hour, stirring once during baking time. Break into pieces if necessary before serving.
