In the following sweet treat recipes, you can find some tricks to make healthier desserts by substituting, or cutting down some of the least healthy ingredients in some recipes. Yes, you know what I’m talking about: mainly margarine and shortening (trans fats) and excessive refined sugar. While we are at it, we can add whole, natural ingredients full of antioxidants, vitamins, minerals, fiber and healthy fats.
