I always like to add a few new recipes to my menus for the Holidays. I’ve compiled a list below of some of my favorite Holiday recipes. Mix and match from each section to create your version of The Ultimate Menu, or just take a few to add to your regular holiday menu and put a little excitement on the table.
First Course: I like to serve fish for the first course, but I incuded one or two other options for variety as well.

Sesame Salmon I use the same method with cubed tuna and salmon as well. One cube of each can be elegant and not too expensive.
Five Minute Vegetable Soup always a winner
Mushroom Barley Soup very hearty and filling
Creamy Carrot and Ginger Soup this is my favorite
Roasted Vegetable Medley -serve warm or room temp as a salad.
Roasted Cipollini Onions and Beets -gorgeous color!
Cabbage Rugelach -we love these!
Warm Baby Potatoes with Cumin -great combo!
Heimish Carrot Kugels -you can’t go wrong with these.
Italian Wine Salad -we like this one a lot!
Spinach Mandarin and Almond Salad -gorgeous as as an appetizer too.
Colorful Green Bean Salad with Creamy Garlic Dressing – this one keeps in the fridge nicely.
Light Chocolate Mousse -this freezes well, defrost before serving,
Chocolate Liqueur Ice Cream goes with any cake you have or just served on its own.
Levana’s Basic Biscotti pair with a warm cup of tea.
Ginger Fruit Cobbler with Crumb Topping my top pick for a cold Sukkot evening.
Sweet Poached Pears My mom makes this every holiday as it’s perfect to make in advance!
