- 6 pieces salmon -
- salt -
- 2 cinnamon sticks -
- 2 diced onions* -
- 1 cup brown sugar -
- 4 Tbsp lemon juice -
- 1 c. raisins (optional) -
- 4 tsp. wine (red preferably but others are ok too) -
- 1 tsp. salt -
- * when pressed for time you can use 1 bag of frozen diced onions -
1. Sprinkle some salt over salmon. Broil fish for 20 minutes.
2. Boil together remaining ingredients for 10-15 minutes. Pour the sauce over the salmon and place in fridge overnight.
Note: Can be served warm or cold.
