Estee Kafra asked me an interesting question: As a cookbook author, which recipes garner the most positive feedback? Which ones are my favorites?
That’s a hard question to answer — I have quite a few. I already know myself that one of the first main dishes I am going to prepare is the Pepper Short Ribs meat recipe I am sharing with you. It’s one of my family’s favortie Pesach special recipes and I make it every single year. I’m quite fond of the potato beet salad featured below and not only because it makes for such a great and colorful photo — after all, you can’t eat a photo! It’s really quite tasty and a bit of a change from the many heavily sugared ‘salad’ recipes out there.
The largest FAQ I find about Pesach is how to bake a sponge cake and still have it come out whole, pretty and tasty. This is why I’ve shared the Chocolate Sponge Cake with you. It’s the very first baked item that my girls and I make each year and we make quite a few of them over the course of the one week holidy of Pesach. Delicious, light and fun every time.
And this is one of the many recipes I get a lot of positive feedback about — because it does work.
Next in line are the chocolate chip cookies, the chicken fricasee, and the rainbow sherbet recipes. But I couldn’t post the entire book here, so…come try it for yourself and see!
