This is a special drink that is really easy to make. Aside from its sweet and tangy taste, it also gives off a heavenly aroma. My aunt always serves this cider whenever she has guests or a gathering in her house. She says she
- 2½ liters apple juice -
- 6 cinnamon sticks -
- 2 Tbsp honey -
- 3 cans (11 oz each) mandarin orange segments, drained -
1. Place all the ingredients into a large pot. Bring to a boil; immediately lower the heat to low and let simmer for 3 to 4 hours.
2. Ladle warm cider into glasses, including some mandarin segments in each serving.
TIP: You can make this cider in advance. Just heat up the ingredients and then let it cool. Once cooled, refrigerate until 2 to 3 hours before you’re ready to serve. Rewarm and let simmer for a few minutes.
