Outside, the weather has turned cold. Inside, we are warmed by the lights of the menorah and by gathering close with family and friends. Chanukah is a time of celebration, a time to broadcast and remember the great miracle that saved our nation so many years ago. On Chanukah, we have a custom to eat dairy foods in recollection of the cheese that Yehudis served the leader of the Syrian-Greek army, General Holofernes, before killing him and leading the Jews to victory.
